Approximately 8 years ago, I baked my first batch of an original cookie recipe that had no name – but I made it with the finest and freshest ingredients; no preservatives added. When family members tasted the cookie they told me it needed a little more work. The next year – I shipped a box of the cookies to my family in Georgia, for Christmas treats. My husband said: “It crumbles too much.” My sister tasted and said: “You’re getting close, but you are not quite there yet.” For the next 6 years, I changed the recipe, every time I baked the cookie; trying to get the cookie just right. I knew if my family members liked the cookie – It was a hit! Finally, in December 2010, my son suggested one minor change to the recipe to give it both a chewy and crunchy taste. It was a hit! My husband loved it! My son loved it! His friends loved it! My family and friends loved it.

I began baking in my own kitchen to provide family, friends, and church members with free gift packages of my handmade cookies. Everyone said: “I can’t eat just one!” My husband said: “Let’s call this cookie: CEJO (Can’t Eat Just One) Cookies.” Hence the name was born for my Original Recipe Gourmet Cookies.  Success at last! CEJO Cookie, as we know it today – is a success with my family and friends. It is my hope that you will fall in love with Cejolicious! Osolicious! CEJO Cookies too.
